How long will my brows last?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Brow treatments typically fade over a period of 12\u201324 months before requiring a colour refresh. Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and how closely aftercare guidance is followed. Oily skin types may experience slightly faster fading.

All cosmetic tattooing has the potential not to fade over time, including semi-permanent makeup, as the pigments used are the same.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is the treatment painful?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Most clients describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful.

You may bring numbing cream to your appointment to use prior to your treatment. EMLA<\/a> can be purchased over the counter from the pharmacy. Since lidocaine can cause allergic reactions in some individuals, please conduct a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Your pharmacist can advise further.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long does the appointment take?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Initial appointments typically take 2.5\u20133 hours, including consultation, mapping, pigment selection, and the treatment itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A touch-up session is advisable 6\u20138 weeks later and usually takes around 1.5\u20132 hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the healing process like?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your brows will go through 3 stages

Days 1-3 : Brow shock – Your brows will be darker for the first few days. this is normal, as excess pigment sits in the dead layers of the surface of the skin, giving the appearance of a darker brow.

Days 4-14: Brow fade – As your skin heals, you’ll see your brows begin to disappear. This can be disconcerting but it’s part of the healing process.

Day 15 onwards: Your brows will be mostly healed at this stage, and will start to come back, revealing the healed results. You’ll be ready for a touch-up by week 6-8, as this gives your brows plenty of time to settle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
